Your bridal journey begins with a consultation at our atelier with our Creative Director, Karen Sabag. During this intimate process you will discuss your wedding, your needs, ideas, and visions with Karen. You’ll also discuss styles, silhouettes and fabrics and couture sketch will be started and measurements taken.

If you are a international bride, your consultation appointment will be virtual and will be conducted over a scheduled video call.

Once the client says “Yes to the Sketch,” the creative process begins.

BRIDAL PROCESS

Designed to reflect the brides matrimonial vision, Karen Sabag Bridal Couture utilizes the finest fabrication and craftsmanship in the couture process. Our atelier works closely with each bride throughout the entire process from design conception to the completion of each gown. With a district eye for detail and craftsmanship, every Karen Sabag bride is one of a kind.

  • First Fitting

    In the first fitting, the muslin is customized to the clients design and altered if need be. Each client is fitted to their custom design, ensuring the precise fit with the highest standard of work.

  • Second Fitting

    Due to the hundreds of hours that can go into the creation of your design, from the finest European lace and intricate hand beaded embroidery to various other artisans hands; a design can take up to several months.

    During your second fitting, the gown is tried on and design details are discussed and altered for the clients perfect fit.

  • Third Fitting

    In the third and final fitting, with anywhere of 100 to 800 hours having gone into your dress by our team of tailors and seamstresses; your gown is ready for your final fitting before your big day. The gown is tried on one last time to finalize all details from the zipper to the hem to complete your dress perfectly.

    Once completed, your gown will be delicately steamed, packed, and will be ready for your monumental day.

From floor-sweeping veils in delicately embellished Chantilly lace to face-framing tulle veils, jeweled headpiece, bird caged veils and embroidered and hand sewn veils our atelier offers a wide range of bespoke handcrafted veils, designed to beautifully balance and enhance your bridal look.
